Setup Process

You can complete the setup of your HP Printer with ease and start printing/scanning via it
l First and foremost, unbox your HP Printer and remove any packing materials from around it
l Make sure to remove the tapes and sheets from inside the printer
l Following this, connect the HP printer to an electrical outlet using the power cord provided
l Now snap the ink cartridges into the respective slots and wait for your HP printer to initialize
Subsequently, you can choose from any of the methods below to set up your HP Printer wirelessly
Printer with a touchscreen display
l Begin the wireless setup by selecting the ‘Network’ menu or pressing the ‘Wireless’ icon
l After that, choose ‘settings’ and tap on ‘Wireless Setup Wizard’. The HP Printer will scour for the networks available.
l Subsequently, select your SSID network from the list and type in your WPS or WEP network key and couple it
l If your SSID network is not shown enter the SSID network name manually
l After that, on your computer/laptop navigate to 123.hp.com/setup and download the software by entering your device model
l Complete the setup by carefully following the on-screen directions on your screen
Printer without a touchscreen display
l First, navigate to 123.hp.com/setup on your computer and download the printer software by entering your HP Printer model
l When installing the software, it prompts you to connect a USB cable between the printer and your computer
l Connect and disconnect the USB cable when prompted by the HP software and enter your WEP or WPS network key to complete the wireless setup
